Demographic Information

The current trade area population is estimated at 43,080 people with 15,950 residents within the primary sector.  Population growth throughout the trade area has been very strong, with recorded average annual growth of 2.2% since 1996. 

Mt Sheridan Plaza is situated within the Statistical Local Area of Trinity which is projected to have average annual growth of 3.0% for the next 10 years reflecting the continuing residential growth in the area.

The centre is surrounded on all sides by residential developments.  Young families are attracted to the new housing within the area with the average age being 31.3 years and 61% of the trade area’s population being homeowners.  Families with children make up 52.3% of the main trade area population with 25% of children under the age of 5 residing between Earlville and Edmonton.
